NEEDED: Dental Hygienist
LOCATION: 3901 Klein Blvd., Lompoc, CA 93436
SCHEDULE: 40 Hours per week, Monday – Friday, between 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be certified/licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the State of California and must submit photocopies of their license and/or board certification along with your resume.
- Experience is not required.
JOB DUTIES: Shall provide the following Dental Hygienist services, which include, but are not limited to, the items listed below.
- Provide dental prophylaxis on inmate patients who are referred by the dental staff
- Provide periodontal scaling and root planning on inmate patients who are referred by the dental staff
- Provide complete periodontal charting on inmate patients
- Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient
- Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis
- Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the dentist
- Sterilize instruments used for prophylaxis and other instruments as specified by the dental staff
- Perform necessary paperwork related to scheduling patients for dental prophylaxis as directed by the dental staff
