About the role:

As a Product Designer for Platform Experience at Nium, you'll be responsible for the "first touch" UX for our B2B customers; for the UX of onboarding a new customer; all the way to the dashboards and portals that our customers and internal stakeholders use every day. You'll ensure our customer is represented in every aspect of the services we deliver, and will be a leader in human-centered design. In addition, you will be a key member of the team to advise us as we roll out any forward-facing online presence either as customer experience, education, or lead generation. Flexibility, communication, and a willingness to learn are of the highest importance.

What you will do:

• Deliver design that simplifies the complex, with a strong eye for detail
• Drive the value of design through your work, helping standardize best practices for others to use
• Collaborate with your peers in Design, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to share learnings, align priorities and identify opportunities for improvement
• Foster an team culture, maintain a strong human-focused design process, and be a thought partner to product leaders in defining a bold vision for our product experiences.
• Lead design projects in cross-functional agile teams
• Create user flows, anticipating edge cases and errors
• Actively contribute to our standards and style guide
• Iterate on design through testing, incorporating data into your process and evolving our understanding of customer needs and behavior
• Influence product strategy and execute design work with a high level of polish, and understand how to solve a range of product challenges across web, and email, providing design direction and pushing the quality of the design work
• Help define the design process and be accountable for business outcomes
• Build relationships with cross functional team members and executives and effectively speak to design process, goals and team vision

What you bring :

• Experience. 5 years of UX and Product Design (Having worked in a fast-moving FinTech startup is a plus!)
• Excellent Communication. You have the ability to present user flows and design to stakeholders, engineers, and product owners
• Design. You have a track record of producing highly usable and visually appealing product experiences
• Adaptability. You listen, observe and learn quickly; you ask questions; you can test new things and thrive in ambiguity, incorporating feedback and data into your work along the way
• You work in Figma and other design software as needed for prototyping and presentations
