Job Summary:
nLIGHT is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the team at our Vancouver, Washington location. This position is responsible for advanced processing and troubleshooting processes, multiple forms of metrology, supporting process engineers with process development as well as limited data analysis.

Job Functions:

• Support new tool and process deployment and qualification
• Support process engineering with metrology and data analysis
• Training and certification of operations staff
• Support of the production floor with tool and/or process knowledge
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Create and/or improve documentation of processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree or better in a technical discipline is highly desirable.
• Computer programming skills are highly desirable
• The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of manufacturing/development experience in the semiconductor industry
• Good analytic and communication skills.
• Ability to clearly and effectively summarize and present results.
• Self-motivated and a strong team player.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Shift differentials at the rate of 10% for hours worked between 5:30PM to 12:00AM and 15% for hours worked between 12:00AM to 5:30AM
• Semi-annual Corporate Bonus Program with potential payout of up to 2% of your wages 
• 80 hours of paid Vacation per year, plus Paid Sick Leave and paid Holidays
