POSITION SUMMARY:
The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing and supervising the staff, services, physical property, inventory, and finances of the property, ensuring all activities align with company policies and client expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise, assess, and monitor staff needs, ensuring all assigned duties are completed effectively.
- Conduct required property inspections and ensure that all follow-up work is completed according to schedule.
- Provide high-quality, professional service to residents, addressing concerns and enhancing resident satisfaction.
- Monitor the financial performance of the property to ensure that budget objectives are achieved.
- Lead and implement marketing strategies to meet or exceed ownership goals.
- Oversee maintenance operations, ensuring timely and quality completion of tasks.
- Follow company procedures for documenting and reporting property activities.
- Foster a positive "teamwork" atmosphere within the workforce.
- Assist in organizing and implementing on-site social activities and community events.
- Maintain the annual operating budget for the property.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing residential properties or apartment communities.
- At least 2 years of experience managing property teams (including maintenance and support staff).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and internet use.
- Familiarity with multifamily property management software (e.g., Real Page, MRI, Yardi, Knock, etc.).
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including occasional Saturdays.
- Valid driver’s license required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds (e.g., computer or printer equipment, files, etc.).
- Primarily office-based, requiring regular use of a computer, keyboard, and phone. This role may include the possibility of remote work after the initial training period.
- Frequent walking and occasional stair climbing during property tours.
- Regular reading, writing, and research tasks.
- Frequent travel between buildings by car or golf cart.
