NOOTER is seeking an experienced Heavy Industrial Construction Manager with a specialization in Industrial Manufacturing to join their management team. An ideal candidate has 7-10 years of experience with mechanical and electrical industrial construction in the manufacturing sector including but not limited to the automotive, food and beverage, aggregates and glass industries. Additionally, this individual would have proven experience in construction management, with a track record of overseeing multiple Project Managers simultaneously, strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate teams to achieve project goals, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and knowledge of construction methods, materials and industry regulations.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Project Oversight: Safety MUST remain the foremost priority in all facets of our operations; Directly manage and oversee a team of Project Managers, providing support, guidance and mentorship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resource Allocation and Management: Coordination with Project Managers to allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and achieve project milestones within budgetary guidelines.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communications and resolution of issues. Maintain strong client relationships by delivering project that meet or exceed expectations and address client concerns promptly.
- Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce stringent quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications. Promote and uphold a culture of safety across all projects, conducting regular inspections and enforcing safety protocols.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor project financials closely, tracking expenditures, forecasting costs, and managing project budgets effectively.
- Team Leadership and Development: Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment among Project Managers and project teams. Provide leadership, motivation, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities to achieve project objectives.
