Maintenance Technician Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with significant experience in multi-family housing (apartments) and a high level of customer service in Burlington, MA. This position will be primarily located at Life Time Living Burlington a 167 unit luxury market rate, class A, apartment community that just opened in October 2023. This is for a Maintenance Technician position and you must meet the below job responsibilities and skill set to apply.

Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Appliance Repair
• Basic Electrical (ability to install fixtures, make minor repairs, troubleshoot problems)
• Basic Plumbing skills
• Basic Carpentry/Painting skills
• Ability to complete basic service request (Handyman skills)
• Basic HVAC troubleshooting and repair

Maintenance Technician Job Requirements: (Must meet all of the below requirements in order to apply)

• At least 3 years experience working as a maintenance technician in the multi-family apartment industry at a luxury, class A property
• Ability to rotate on call with your Supervisor on a bi-weekly basis
• Valid Drivers License
• Daily Transportation is necessary for on call work
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to pass a drug, credit and criminal background check
• Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to operate all necessary hand tools and to kneel, crouch, climb, and crawl to reach items in need of repairs. Frequently moves about to coordinate work.
• Able to use computers and the technology that goes along with it to receive service requests, close out service requests, order supplies when necessary etc.
• EPA Certification
• Knowledge and comfort with property management software (Yardi Experience a plus)

Maintenance Technician Education Requirements

• GED, High School diploma or Trade School equivalent

Maintenance Technician Pay:

• Hourly position, pay based on experience.

Maintenance Technician Benefits:
