Graphic Designer

Norman Love Confections is looking to hire a Graphic Designer! As our company is growing, so is our in-house Marketing Department and we are looking to move our graphic design work from an external partner to an in-house team member. This individual will be responsible for creating materials and graphics that support our growth initiatives in the sales, retail and ecommerce channels. We are looking for a candidate who can utilize their passion for design and create beautiful and compelling content that showcase our ultra-premium products and align with our brand standards.

Below are some of the core responsibilities for this position:  

·       Design and create various materials for digital and print mediums

·       Impart creativity while working within established brand standards and guidelines

·       Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts appropriate for medium and audience

·       Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces

·       Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product

·       Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects

·       Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software

·       Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines

·       Manage multiple projects within design specifications

·       QA design for errors

·       Manage intake of creative requests

·       Manage review, edit and approval process for design materials

An ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skill sets:

·       Bachelor’s degree in a creative field preferred

·       Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required; primarily Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Minimum of two years experience in graphic design

·       Attention to detail

·       Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects

·       Time management and organizational skills

·       Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web

·       Experience with both print and digital media
