We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Veterinary Customer Service Representative (Receptionist) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and a genuine love for animals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm, professional demeanor.
- Schedule appointments and manage the hospital appointment calendar effectively.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services.
- Check-in and check-out clients, including processing payments.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records in the hospital practice management software.
- Assist with client education about services, medications, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with the veterinary and support staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education or certifications in veterinary practices is a plus.
- Previous experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
