North Alabama Shoals Hospital is seeking a full-time RN Hospital Supervisor. This position is eligible for a 1-year Commitment Incentive of $5,000 or 2-year Commitment Incentive of $7,500.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- The Administrative Supervisor is primarily responsible for representing Administration on their assigned shifts, communicating administrative concerns and implementing hospital policy.
- They may assist Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse with staffing and the allocation of staff to meet workload demands; coordinates placement of float staff; collaborates with Directors and Nurse Managers/Unit Manager on operational issues, and serves as a resource to internal and external customers.
- Functions as a mediator between internal departments to facilitate patient care by resolving issues/problems.
Qualifications
This position requires 4-6 years recent hospital experience in which an advanced level of leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills have been demonstrated. Previous management experience preferred.
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama RN license.
- BSN required
