What are the responsibilities and job description for the Imaging Navigator-Radiology position at North Kansas City Hospital?
SUMMARY: The primary responsibilities of the Imaging Navigator are to ensure findings are communicated with the ordering physician and ensure follow-up imaging occurs as recommended. They will also work with patients to establish primary care resources.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years post graduate experience preferred, experience in advanced modalities a plus.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Detail oriented, excellent phone and communication skills, basic understanding of all radiology modalities
LICENSE/CERT: Required: RT(R) (Registered Technologist - Radiography), ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers), NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
EDUCATION: Required: Technical/Certificate - Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
