Job description
Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital has available Full-time and Part-time Mental Health Associate Tier 2 position.
The Mental Health Associate Tier 2 position participates in the interdisciplinary treatment team by assisting in the development of the interdisciplinary plan according to regulatory standards. This position provides direct patient care as needed, to include patient orientation to the unit assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, reporting observations to the Registered Nurse (RN) and co-facilitating groups.
This position delivers care in a prompt and professional manner, always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and respect. The Mental Health Associate Tier 2 is part of the treatment team and works towards meeting the needs of the patient and support departmental goals and objectives. This position provides quality customer service, participates in performance improvement initiatives, and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.
Rate of pay: $19.00 per hour
Qualifications:
Minimum of Associates Degree in psychology or related field required.
CPR Certification required within one month of hire.
Certified in National Crisis Intervention before assigned to the clinical area
Experience:
1 year of Mental Health experience preferred
