What are the responsibilities and job description for the MHT (NEC Cares) position at Northeastern Center Inc?
A MHT at NEC Cares provides face to face crisis support and assistance through strength based, unbiased crisis support to individuals that seek services at the Community Health and Outreach Center. MHT will conduct basic health screening and assessment to identify immediate and secondary needs of the individual. Assistance with stabilization, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, and the development of community living skills. MHT works collaboratively with law enforcement and mobile crisis units.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Two years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs preferred or community service.
Licenses: Must possess a state issued valid driver's license.
This position is 7p-7a. There will be rotating weekends. 3-12 hour shifts M-F.
Salary based on experience.
