A well-established distributor located in Anchorage, Alaska is looking for a self-starter to join our operations team. This is a full time position open immediately. Direct reporting to: Sr. Warehouse Operations Manager

This position is classified as: Non-Exempt; Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Typically: Tues – Sat; 09:00 am – 05:30 pm (or until duties are done)

Description:
Responsible for reviewing all driver invoices for accuracy, inspecting trucks for cleanliness and operability, and maintaining an efficient loading area.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Review all invoices against master control invoice list for accuracy.
• Turn in verified invoices to office for processing.
• Verify driver logs are complete for daily pre-trip inspections.
• Complete a daily post-trip inspection of all delivery trucks, to include rear of truck and cab for cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure returned product is processed appropriately
• Maintain a clean loading area
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires lifting cases weighing from 20-60 pounds repeatedly throughout the work day; as well as loading, pushing, and pulling heavy product. Bending, reaching, and squatting throughout the shift while loading and moving products.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years old due to insurance requirements
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• DOT card or willing to obtain immediately.
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of delivery/distribution/warehouse flow
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
