Microsoft Administrator
Northland Controls is seeking a well-qualified Microsoft Administrator, located in Chennai, India.
As a Microsoft Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining our Microsoft ecosystem, including Windows servers, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure services, and other related technologies. This position plays critical role ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our Microsoft infrastructure. The position requires expertise in Microsoft technologies and a proactive approach to system administration to support the organization's operations and facilitating collaboration across teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Strong proficiency in managing Windows servers, Active Directory, and Office 365 services.
• Experience with Azure services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Backup.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and task automation.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: Windows Server, MCSE: Productivity, or equivalent are a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administer and maintain Windows servers, including installation, configuration, and patch management.
• Manage Active Directory services, including user and group management, group policy administration, and domain controller configuration.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
• Configure and manage Azure services, such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Backup.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect Microsoft infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support the integration of Microsoft technologies with other systems and applications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for Microsoft-related issues.
• Stay updated on the latest Microsoft products, features, and best practices to optimize system performance and efficiency.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or related field.

This position is an in-office position.
WORKING HOURS
This is a full-time position, 40 hours a work week.
