We are on the hunt for a proactive Staff Accountant to join our team! If you thrive in numbers, love solving puzzles, and have a knack for detail, this could be your next adventure. As a key player in our finance team, you'll ensure the accuracy of financial records, manage cash, and support closing activities—all while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
✨ What You’ll Do
✔️ Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reconciliations (including bank reconciliations).
✔️ Handle daily cash management, balancing, and reporting.
✔️ Post journal entries and support month-end/year-end close processes.
✔️ Reconcile general ledger data to sub-ledger and other system data.
✔️ Manage cash receipts, reconciliations, and daily balancing of lockbox accounts.
✔️ Research and resolve cash discrepancies promptly.
✔️ Assist with prepaid expense amortization and reconciliation processes.
✔️ Collaborate on post-close analysis and quarterly reporting.
✔️ Support ad-hoc financial reporting requests.
✔️ Ensure compliance with SOX and internal policies.
