Job Summary:
The Commercial Software Manager is responsible for the implementation, training and development of written policies and procedures for all of the Commercial Lending software systems. The position troubleshoots systems and partners with vendors to resolve issues. Ensures all systems that integrate with the bank’s core COCC systems works proficiently. Develops project plans for implementation and training. Trains employees who use software regularly and intermittently. May participate in vendor selection and review contracts with executive management. Maintains current knowledge and compliance with all regulatory departments sand with all bank policies, procedures and regulations. The position reports to the EVP, Chief Lending Officer.
Principal Responsibilities:
Learn all lending software systems: Abrigo, Tru stage, Integra, COCC Core, Encompass and any additional systems added. Become subject matter expert.
Develop procedures for every system, including but not limited to: Loan applications from top to bottom , Prepare loan documents, Board loans, CECL, Develop a master list of all help desk individuals and for what purpose they serve, Develop training materials for all new commercial hires on these systems.
Develop process and procedures for any issues that arise; develop all levels of process and procedures -low level to emergency level. Troubleshoot issues, recommend solutions, partner with vendors and or internal customers to resolve issues.
Select a “Software Champion” in each department. These “Software Champions” will: Share knowledge with their team on all aspects of the system/systems, Be the go-to person for everyday system questions, Assist the Computer Software Manager and Training Specialist in developing a Training regimen, as well as a continuing education protocol for departments, and back up the CSM when needed.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from four-year College or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and clients, and internal employee/customers. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Must be detail oriented and demonstrate good organizational and communication skills, both oral and written. Must have computer skills including the Internet and Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word and Excel. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Tasks performed by this position are wide variety of duties and require knowledge of multitude of projects and business areas. Employee performs work within established guidelines and according to specific procedures. Duties require judgement to work independently toward results, devising new methods or adapting standard procedures to meet conditions. Plans and arranges own work, referring only unusual cases to supervisor.
Responsibility:
Probable errors may involve misinformation and could result in loss of business, time, talent, delay in processes and implementation. This position has access to customer loan information through the loan documentation process and system information. Regular interdepartmental or external business contacts, furnishing or obtaining information; requires tact and courtesy. Duties may involve the preparation of data on which top management bases important decisions.
