Business-Economics (PR) Faculty

Northwestern College invites applications for a full-time faculty position (open rank, tenure eligible, dependent on qualifications) in our business and economics department, beginning in August 2025. We seek candidates in the public relations field. The teaching load for this position is 24 credit hours per academic year, typically three courses each semester, along with expectations for scholarship and service.

Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold a master’s degree or higher in a relevant field and demonstrate a history of industry experience and the ability to teach effectively.

Preferred Qualifications: A doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred. Preference will be given to those with experience in higher education and significant relevant experience in public relations practice. A commitment to in-person, undergraduate teaching and mentoring is essential.
