Responsibilities
This position is responsible for over seeing the day to day operations in a physician office. The incumbent is responsible for providing leadership, management and evaluation of all office employees. Will serve as a liaison to Staff Physicians, providing feedback to the Director or VP Physician Services for problem solving and evaluations. The incumbent will ensure the delivery of competent and efficient patient care through appropriate coordination of practice services, will provide guidance in the attainment of practice goals and promote teamwork among all personnel to ensure that standards for clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance are met on an on-going basis. The incumbent may assist in direct patient care activities, utilizing age appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to the practice specialty.
Key Accountabilities:
- With the assistance of the Director/Regional Adm., provides staff development through coaching, counseling and initiation of the Employee Conduct and Performance program.
- Establishes the collaborative relationships necessary to coordinate and integrate both inter- and intra-office services. Establishes and maintains effective external relationships to assist in the assessment of community needs and in staying abreast of significant developments in the field.
- Ensures that employees understand how they relate to the strategic direction of the corporation. Ensures that staff meetings are held on a regular basis, as evidenced by meeting minutes. Communicates in monthly meeting operational issues and process improvements to staff, as evidenced by documentation of meeting minutes.
- Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles appropriate to the ages of patients served in their particular practice, and routinely applies these principles in meeting the needs of patients and families.
- Ensures ongoing allocation of staff, as evidenced by interviewing, hiring, evaluating performance and firing for all staff positions.
Qualifications
Required:
- With Associate's Degree: One year supervisory experience or completion of an Administrative Fellowship Program.
- Without Associate's Degree: Three years supervisory experience.

- Bachelor Degree
