Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, prior experience with dementia preferred. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, empathy, and the ability to follow care plans effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Support clients with medication reminders.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or familiarity in the following areas:
- Care plans development and implementation.
- Prior direct patient care required.
- Providing dementia care in home setting.
- Must be able to cook and prepare meals
- Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
