Novamex markets an array of food and beverage brands in a variety of categories. Each brand is a leader in the Hispanic Industry and is well known to our Hispanic shoppers in the U.S. We are currently seeking a Part-time Receptionist to join our team in our El Paso, Tx Corporate office.

Operates multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines the purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines the nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Receives, sorts, and routes mail.
- Maintains fax and copy machines, assists users, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes.
- Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies.
- Files and photocopies as needed.
Qualifications
The candidate needs to be self-motivated, organized, and highly productive, with the ability to work well on a diverse and highly qualified team in a fast-paced work environment. Be effective in working as a member of a team within their perspectivedepartment as well as with other personnel and other areas within Novamex.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training.
Language Ability:
Bilingual English/Spanish required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Email system.
