Successful individuals will leverage proficiency in industry leading content management systems to build new internal and external sites, enhance existing features, and ensure our digital platforms are accessible, high-performing, and in line with the latest industry standards. The expectation is to solve problems quickly, while also striving to find root causes and prevent issues from reoccurring.

Novus is looking for an individual who doesn't accept “that’s the way things are done” but instead work to understand the reasons why things are done and identify ways to improve. Individuals will document successes and solutions to track problems and build a knowledgebase to share with the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Website Development: Build, update, and optimize website pages and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET, python and other relevant technologies.
• Content Management Systems (CMS): Configure and customize WordPress and Experience by Kentico implementations to meet business and user requirements.
• Collaborative Projects: Work with cross-functional teams (Marketing, IT Ops, Operations) to gather requirements, prototype ideas, and implement design and functional improvements.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure websites are responsive, performant, and optimized for search engine visibility and user experience.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Identify and fix front-end issues and bugs, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing (functional, cross-browser, and responsive) to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Continual Learning & Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, front-end frameworks, and emerging technologies to recommend and implement best practices.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree or higher education in Web Development, Web Design, or other related studies preferred; or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress, Kentico, Sitefinity, or Sitecore.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and version control.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization.
• Exposure to agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
• Experience working with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD a plus.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) a plus.
