MRI Technologist

NRGUSA is seeking a MRI Technologist for a temporary assignment at a large hospital in Staten Island, New York. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology to take pictures inside the human body for diagnostic purposes.

This is a temporary assignment that can be extended or lead to long term role at one of the top area hospitals.

Responsibilities:
Maintaining imaging equipment

Perform a variety of exams, to include neuro & 3T Prostate exams
GE 3 Tesla and GE 1.5 T

Preparing patients for MRI scans

Working with physicians to identify where patients should be scanned

Operating imaging equipment during scans

Maintaining relevant patient records

Qualifications:
NYS DOH Radiologic

Technologist License

R.T. (R)(MR)(ARRT)

NYS Injection/IV Certification

BLS

1 year experience minimum, 2 years preferred.

Schedule:
Every other weekend

7am - 3pm

Pay Rate - $40/hr - $54/hr
