Production Lead
Position Overview:
Production Lead for NuTek Natural Ingredients Fargo plant location is a full-time, hourly position, with optional overtime available. Benefits include competitive wage, 401k matching, paid holidays, PTO, health and dental insurance.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate rail unloading, milling, mixing, roll drying, conveying and packaging equipment.
- Focus on producing safe, quality food.
- Record production data accurately to meet quality assurance requirements.
- Focus on improving productivity.
- Work with plant personnel to maintain an efficient, productive and safe work environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment so plant is inspection ready at all times.
- Training of personnel, both new and established.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Job Functions:
- Responsible for reporting all potential Food Safety issues to the SQF Practitioner/Quality Assurance Manager or other personnel with the responsibility to initiate action.
- Responsible for understanding and adhering to all company, safety, and food safety requirements.
Requirements:
- 2 years manufacturing experience desired but not required
- ERP system experience desired but not required
- Basic math and analytical skills
- Attention to detail, organized, and strong work ethic with ability to multi-task
- Read, write and speak fluent English
- Pass pre-employment screenings; Lift test of 50 lbs. 5 times, background check, and drug screen.
Schedule:
- Night Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Night shift $1/hr pay differential, opportunity for advancement, overtime available
