What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Business Development position at Nu-Way Transportation?

The Director of Business Development who will join our dedicated trucking family-oriented team is a big picture thinker. The Director of Business Development that we are seeking is a positive, energetic, self-motivated strategic planner that will achieve business growth and sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads and pursue new customers
  • Work alongside sales team on growth opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Prospect through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research)
  • Complete daily Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tasks utilizing Salesforce
  • Work to support Company Key Results through achieving team key results as well as supporting additional company initiatives that help us achieve 412.
  • Travel is estimated at 2-3 times per month

Job Type: Full-time

  • Monday to Friday
