Nuvia Dental Implant Centers is Hiring a Payroll and Benefits Specialist Near Salt Lake City, UT

Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing dental implant center, is looking for an outgoing Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our Central Support team located in Cottonwood Heights, UT. We provide full mouth restorations to our patients, literally changing their lives. An exceptional patient experience for every patient is our top priority.

At Nuvia, members of our Central Support team are proactive, self-starters who have a flexible work approach. They are detail oriented, great with people, collaborative and have a "can do" attitude. We would love a candidate who can effectively communicate to our teams in both English and Spanish.

Hours are full time, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Open to a hybrid position for the right person.

Competitive pay starting at $55k DOE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Gather and verify payroll data to ensure accuracy 
  • Process 3 payrolls a month across multiple entities
  • Organize and facilitate deposits for payroll deductions to appropriate benefits agencies 
  • Administer and manage all company benefits
  • Oversee all new hire and open enrollment
  • Process status change forms
  • Ensure compliance based on state and federal guidelines
  • Manage all payroll reporting, VOEs and Unemployment Claims
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate across all departments
  • Set up payrolls for new entities and states as the company grows

Job Requirements:

  • 4 years Payroll and Benefits experience
  • Always looking ahead to prepare for the next event
  • Improving and reinventing processes as we grow
  • Audit payroll and benefits enrollment to ensure accuracy 
  • Work autonomously and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Monitor state and federal laws to ensure compliance within department
  • Understand and live by Nuvia’s core values

  • Trax for payroll processing
  • Employee Navigator for benefits election and enrollment
  • Paperless record keeping 
  • Digital access for communication with every team member
  • A close mentor who will help coach, train and bring you up to speed
  • Paid, in depth training with a fully communicated transition plan

This is what a day in the life of a Payroll and Benefits Specialist at Nuvia looks like:

  • Communicating with newly hired employees to prepare for upcoming payrolls
  • Processing status change forms
  • Preparing, processing and answering payroll related questions
  • Communicating, enrolling and answering benefits related questions

The biggest challenge of this position is juggling multiple payroll entities, compensation plans, and departments for a rapidly growing organization. While the role is well defined, as we grow there will be new challenges. We are looking for a problem solver and team player who can help us face and overcome those challenges.Success in this role would be shown by accurate payrolls and benefits enrollment for all of our team members. Our ideal candidate can not only juggle the numbers and tasks related to payroll and benefits but is also an expert communicator and must be very good with people.
