Job objective:
The Convenience Store Assistant Manager will assist the manager with the operational activities their assigned retail sites in order to support the achievement of the site’s business goals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruiting of and train positive individuals ensuring excellent customer service.
- Assist with established daily operating procedures to ensure interior and exterior of the site is in accordance with NuWay-K&H Cooperative brand and image standards.
- Assist with ensuring all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly and displayed in a safe manner.
- Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation, protect and develop the cooperative’s brands via ethical activities and intellectual property management.
- Continuous improvement through self-development and educational training.
- Attend all training sessions required by law and NuWay-K&H Cooperative.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as appropriate and assigned.
Qualifications of the Position:
- Minimum two years’ work experience that is applicable to the duties of the job.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer relation skills.
- Reliable and self-motivated with good problem solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
- Must possess ability to physically perform duties required to accomplish job responsibilities.
General Description:
The Convenience Store Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the store manager in aspects of their specific retail site by following store operation guidelines and personnel policies and procedures ensure service, safety and brand image are enforced under NuWay-K&H cooperative’s expectations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
