Job Description

Owens Brockway Glass Container, Inc. seeks in Wheat Ridge, CO, to be responsible for the accounting department function, controls, and financial transactions in a glass manufacturing plant. This role will administer the plant’s cost control function including coordinating the plant’s forecasting budgeting and objectives defined by the division or management. Manage the balance sheet and P&L statement preparation. Manage the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements. Meet with plant management and other departments to discuss accounting problems, policy interpretations, cost distributions, and saving initiatives. Prepare or direct the preparation of 901’s, annual plans, and forecasts of plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus 3 years of glass manufacturing plant finance operations experience. The 3 years of experience must include 3 years of experience generating financial statements, fixed asset and project accounting, and detailed cost center tracking and reporting using SAP financial modules. All experience may be acquired concurrently. 

Work Hours: Full time (40 hours/week, 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri)

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $91,936.00 - $93,830.00.
