Head Men and Women’s Swim Coach
Oakland City University is a proud NAIA member institution. The Head Coach will be responsible for the direction and oversight of the Men's and Women's Swim programs and all related coaching functions. Duties include but are not limited to: recruiting, practice and competition preparation, student-athlete development, academic monitoring, staff supervision, alumni relations, budget management, program operations, facility and inventory management, and fundraising. The Head Coach will need to maintain American Red Cross, YMCA, or the equivalent certifications in Lifeguard Training, Water Safety, Water Exercise, and CPR/FA/AED as well as a working knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations.
It is a full-time position and the Coach will be in charge of starting the program for year 1 of competition. Oakland City University is a member of the River States Conference and dually affiliated with the NCCAA.
