ABOUT US: OakLeaf Medical Network is an Independent Physician Association (IPA) and Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) serving independent physician and non-physician provider practices in Eau Claire and the greater Chippewa Valley. To support the mission of OakLeaf Medical Network, we offer a comprehensive solution for Healthcare Payer Contracting, Credentialing, and Business Office Support. We provide delegated credentialing for over 20 payers, 380 providers and 27 independent practices.
Independent Physician Management is a newly formed Management Services Organization (MSO), a part of the OakLeaf Medical Network.
JOB SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, assists in the implementation and ongoing support of Epic Garden Plot. This includes gathering and analyzing data, development, support and functionality of Epic Garden Plot and other supporting IT systems. Assists OLMN clinics in optimizing their workflow processes through building applications that are tailored to meet the organization's needs. Demonstrates an expert knowledge of the Epic Garden Plot system's capabilities and functional use and applies their knowledge of clinical and/or business workflows to assist in the implementation of a system that meets process needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Associate’s degree in Clinical, Informatics, Computer Science, Business or related field is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical, hospital/ambulatory business office environment or related experience may be accepted in lieu of an Associate’s degree.
Prior Related Experience
- 5 years of Epic Application Analyst or related experience is required. (This experience level is required in addition to the experience that would be required in lieu of education if applicant does not meet the associate’s degree requirement.)
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Epic Certification or accreditation in designated functionality module(s) is required or must be obtained within six (6) months.

- Possesses in-depth understanding of information technology systems and products.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of technology tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Agile and Epic resources.

Responsibilities
- Acting as the primary support contact for your end-users and a liaison between your end-users and the Project Team or Epic.
- Identifying issues that arise, notifying the Project Team, and, if needed, working with Epic to resolve them.
- Guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software.
- Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system.
- Maintaining regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly meetings and Change Advisory Board.
- Developing an understanding of operational needs and use of Garden Plot by regularly visiting clinic locations.
- Ensuring a successful connection to Garden Plot through user access requests, configuring workstations and printers, and working with Epic to deploy Garden Plot to local workstations.
- Participating in end-user training and working with end-users to ensure their happiness.
- Troubleshooting problems and questions in collaboration with other Garden Plot analysts across Plot Members.
- Championing optimization opportunities and greater adoption of Epic software across Your users.
- Reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
- Holding weekly communications with core team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, and upcoming milestones.
- Working with third-party vendors to deploy content or devices and providing them troubleshooting information as needed to resolve issues.
Salary : $85,000 - $125,000
