OBGYN Associates of Saint Augustine is Hiring a Medical Front Desk Receptionist Near Saint Augustine, FL

High Volume Obstetrics and Gynecology Practice seeking Medical Receptionist.

We are looking for a medical receptionist with excellent organizational and administrative skills to join our team. You will be responsible for answering phones, checking patients in, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments,

Requirements:

Understanding of EMR.

Strong computer skills

Strong customer service skills

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations

Communication skills and a customer service orientation

Experience with AthenaEMR preferred

Quick learner

Primary responsibilities:

Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.

Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors and patients.

Perform data entry and processing.

Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Perform patient check in/out

Collect payments from patients

Scan and maintain patient records

Verify insurance coverage

Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.

Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff and patient information.

Schedule appointments for patients

Adhere to policy and procedures during all activates.
