Patient Engagement Leader
The Patient Engagement Leader is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify, engage, and enroll patients for clinical trials and research studies. This role is involves attracting and retaining patients, improving patient experience, and building relationships within the community. The Patient Engagement Leader is accountable for recruiting and scheduling patient appointments and coordinating schedules with multiple providers, research coordinators, and other specialized resources.

Essential Functions
- Develop and implement patient recruitment plans for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with study protocols and timelines.
- Achieve daily recruitment goals by monitoring and analyzing recruitment metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Engage patients through phone outreach, providing information about clinical trials and answering questions to facilitate participation.
- Communicate electronically with patients via email, phone, and text using ObjectiveHealth software.
- Review EMR and ObjectiveHealth software to identify patients suitable for study screening.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of potential participants and recruitment efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and research coordinators to ensure a smooth onboarding and retention process for patients.
- Participate in developing recruitment materials such as brochures and presentations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory requirements related to patient recruitment and clinical trials.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, IRB protocols, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience in a sales position and history of achieving sales goals/metrics
- Prior experience in healthcare industry or patient oriented role preferred
- Ability to develop rapport and trust with patients and physician partners
