What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Tester, Jr position at Odyssey Information Services?
PLEASE NOTE: This position is onsite in the Dallas, TX area. It is NOT C2C/ 3rd party eligible.
Looking for a QA Analyst to join a growing team.
- Prepare the pre-requisites for the upcoming testing.
- Analyze Functional and technical Specs, Sequence flows, Epics, User stories, Use Cases, Wireframes and test Criteria and create detailed Test Cases
- Prepare test plans for test events / Milestones
- Execute scripted and ad-hoc/freeform tests
- Ensure the integrity of test cases in JIRA and transactional updates in backend databases
- Timely updates to JIRA tickets for issue resolution visibility and progress
- Support Triage, defect prioritization, retesting and defect closure
- Support Product Owners with joint test events (customer and suppliers)
- Attend program test events (functional testing)
- Build metrics and graphs for test case execution and defect management
- Review Test plan, schedules, release plans, test cases
- Support PROD deployment and drive tests
Requirements:
Java – Very good in Java core concepts
Understanding on the Mobile applications testing
Very good understanding on Junit/BDD/Selenium framework
