An Assistant Property Manager helps in handling day-to-day tasks and operational responsibilities. This includes managing tenant requests, overseeing maintenance issues, processing payments, creating renewal leases and ensuring compliance with property regulations. By efficiently managing these tasks, they allow the Property Manager to focus on higher-level strategic planning and addressing significant concerns.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to…
· Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance.
· Collaborate with the team to market and showcase our vacancies (social media and other marketing platforms)
· Plan monthly resident events for the tenants
· Process all lease renewals for current tenants
· Collect payments and submit bank deposits
· Delivers notices to vacates, and personally contacts all residents who have unpaid/owed rent
· Assists in eviction process and follows orderly and timely policies for local municipalities
· Walking apartments: to process move outs and create their final account statement
· Must be courteous and helpful to residents, prospective residents and co-workers
· Conduct personal tours of the property to prospective residents
· Assist the manager to ensure all tasks are completed
Skills/Requirements
· Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
· Ability to manage conflicts and negotiate effectively
· Proficiency in office software for documentation and correspondence
· Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and laws governing leasing practices
· Experience in customer relationship management
· Administrative skills for managing lease agreements and related paperwork
· Experience with ResMan or other PMS systems

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

- Property management: 2 years (Required)
- Sign Now: 1 year (Preferred)
- Assistant manager: 2 years (Required)
- Resman: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Waxahachie, TX 75165: Relocate before starting work (Required)
