Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Position Purpose: Pharmacy 340B Coordinator serves as the primary program coordinator and liaison for 340B-related matters, is the compliance expert on 340B program details, policies and procedures and ensures 340B program integrity. What You Will Do: Ensures that policies and procedures for 340B are developed, implemented and maintained according to organizational and legal requirements Provides ongoing training, education, and communication required for 340B program Monitors and assesses 340B guidance and rule changes, including, but not limited to HRSA/OPA rule and Medicaid changes. Collaborates with the Prime Vendor Program, pharmacy leadership, legal and compliance teams, to ensure the 340B program is continuously compliant with 340B federal regulations Responsible for ensuring the annual HRSA recertification is completed on time, that HRSA 340B OPAIS is accurate for all organization entities, and that registration of any new child sites are within the allowable time frame Develops, executes, and documents self-audits of the 340B process, including all contract pharmacies, points of service, purchasing accounts; coordinates and ensures remediation of findings. Work to complete assessments with outside firms to validate internal processes Oversees the 340B annual report related to covered entity qualification and impact on patient care and access Reviews, negotiates, and maintains all 340B contracts Assesses opportunities for cost savings and business improvements in 340B program Routinely monitors and reports out on 340B participation regarding utilization, savings, problem areas, exceptions, discrepancies to 340B oversight committee and administration Monitors purchasing records for each 340B participate for pricing exclusions, shortages, alternative products, including work with medical staff and formulary to ensure proper position and use Establishes and owns local and routine approach to the split-billing/third-party administrator software maintenance, including working with system for CDM/crosswalk for new products and changes to ensure the accuracy of the charge process Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Doctor of Pharmacy required 340B University Certification (or within 6 months hire) 3-4 years pharmacy experience and 340B field experience Advanced computer skills to retrieve data, generate reports, and operate software Position Highlights and Benefits: Competitive compensation and benefits packages including medical, dental, and vision with coverage starting on day one.
