We are looking to add a Manufacturing Supervisor (Stamping) to our team in Sunbury, OH. The supervisor will be expected to achieve optimum results and drive improvements in safety, environmental, quality, cost, and overall reliability by developing the full value of all employees through coaching, feedback, and monitoring assignments.

What You Will Do:
· Give guidance to other production associates and monitor their performance to conduct a smooth flow of products.
· Instruct operators to ensure that all materials, both for work in progress and finished products, are properly stored and transported.
· Coach the operator on any reason for failure to any machine or product.
· Proactive planning to eliminate the cause of reoccurring production problems/ malfunctions.
· Initiate suggestions for tooling improvement.
· Conduct routine maintenance for production equipment.
· Communicate appropriate suggestions for equipment repairs and/ or maintenance to Stamping Manager.
· Log necessary information on forklift check sheet and maintain it accordingly.
· Schedule regular maintenance or repairs on forklifts, with approval of Stamping Manager.
· Make appropriate suggestions regarding purchasing of new or additional production equipment.
· Continued training for current associates, as needed.
· Ensure the proper storage and handling techniques of oil throughout the department, with ongoing training provided to operators.
· Monitor air quality requirements.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and neat work environment.
What You Need to Succeed:
· Fluent in Japanese and English.
· Eight years’ experience with vertical stamping machines, including the use and maintenance of dies.
· Four years’ experience in supervision.
· Basic understanding of math.
· Forklift experience is preferred, we can train.
· Ability to consistently work at a fast pace.
· Detail oriented.
· Comfortable with computers and technology, specifically MS Office and Excel.
· Ability to work independently and within a team.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
This position requires the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, climbing, sitting, and twisting routinely throughout the shift.
