**These positions is for our Switzerland of Ohio Local School District in Monroe County for the 2024-25 School Year. **
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Masters in Reading or Reading Endorsement
- Appropriate certification/licensure
- Ability to present and work with teachers to improve their practices
- Background and training in literacy/reading at multiple grade levels
- Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with students, staff, parents, and colleagues
- Technology skills (able to use MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Goggle)
- Exceptional communication, data analysis, leadership and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Assist students who have fallen behind because of COVID-19 in small group reading instruction
- Assist teachers and principals with the development and modeling of instructional practices that lead to high levels of literacy development for students
- Gather, organize, interpret and/or present data to staff for use in designing interventions.
- Work with Specialists in the delivery, training and support of district reading materials
- Work with individual or groups of at-risk students on reading/literacy skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
