The DEI&B Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with the AVP, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) and VP of Human Resources to plan and deliver DEI&B support to OhioGuidestone leadership and staff. They will provide administrative support to the the DEI&B Council and Work Groups as well.

The DEI&B Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with the AVP, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) and VP of Human Resources to plan and deliver DEI&B support to OhioGuidestone leadership and staff. They will provide administrative support to the the DEI&B Council and Work Groups as well.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of Our Promise each and every day, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.
- Collaborate with the AVP, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion &Belonging (DEI&B) and VP of Human Resources to plan and deliver DEI&B support to OhioGuidestone leadership and staff.
- Support the planning, operations, and logistics for DEI&B events, programs, and initiatives within OhioGuidestone and in the Communities we serve
- Support the success of the DEI&B Council and DEI&B Work Groups administratively and organizationally.
- Serve as liaison between AVP of DEI&B and the DEI&B Council and Work Groups.
- Demonstrate positive leadership, promote an inclusive work environment and present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
- Flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
- Serve as representative for Office of DEI&B to staff and interns when appropriate.
Education & Experience:
- Experience or interest in administrative roles and organizational development
- Mission driven; strong desire to make an impact.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for DEIB
- Willingness to learn and apply new concepts
- Time-management skills to balance DEIB responsibilities with other expected duties
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow-up on tasks and outcomes
- Ability to communicate with intention
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Positive relationship-building skills
- Experience creating agendas and note-taking
- Project management experience
- Experience with project management systems like Monday.com or Asana
- Strong group facilitation skills
- Experience in effectively running meetings
