POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing the receptionist desk, while providing exceptional customer service by greeting and directing clients within the Ohnward Insurance Group agency. Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls. Receiving and sorting daily mail. General office work.
KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports to Ohnward Insurance Group Manager
- Works closely with OIG team and customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Greets and welcomes guests and clients.
- Make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.
- Answering the phones, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls or redirect as appropriate.
- Receiving and sorting the daily mail.
- Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments.
- Perform other clerical duties such as electronic filing, photocopying, preparing insurance documents.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Good people skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
- Give accurate information.
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 16 years old. Company complies with all regulations in employment with a minor.
- Customer-oriented approach is essential.
