This is a Tulsa based position.
Drive a Motor-coach bus on state mandated highways.
Safely transport university students, staff/faculty and general public on a fixed scheduled bus route, on demand response or tour services.
Perform a prescribed pre-operational safety maintenance check.
Accumulate and record statistics for daily report.
Perform All Other Responsibilities As Assigned.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older and able to stoop, bend or kneel to secure wheelchairs to fulfill ADA requirements and lift at least 50 lbs.
This is a safety-sensitive position and as required by USDOT: "Safety-Sensitive employees must meet the requirements of 49 CFR Part 40 (Drug and Alcohol Regulations)"

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED
Must have or obtain within 30 days of hire a Class B Commercial license with “P” endorsement and air brake endorsement, cost of training for license to be covered by the department.
Must be 18 years old or older.
Must be able to stoop, bend, or kneel for ADA wheelchair securement and lift at least 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Transit drivers - one year experience with a "P" endorsement driving a bus or like vehicle. Must not have an air brake restriction .
Shuttle drivers - two years' experience with a "P" endorsement driving a bus or like vehicle. Must not have an air brake restriction.
