Job Summary :
Responsible for engaging students and alumni in career readiness activities through creation of high quality impactful educational content in digital marketing and online and print resources used by both Career Services and campus partners to create awareness of and utilization of services. Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills needed as well as proficiency in content creation tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign, video editing software). Also responsible for engaging students and alumni in individual consultations, career related workshops, and outreach presentations.
The hours for this position are 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm with occasional evening and weekend work required for career programming and special events.
Some physical activity required. May need to lift up to 40 lbs on occasion.

Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree
Proficiency with content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign, video editing software, etc. )
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
Public Speaking and Outreach
Understanding of career development concepts and student needs
Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in Communications, Strategic Communications, AgCommunications, Public Relations or related fields.
One year of related experience in the marketing and communications field writing and creating educational resources encompassing print, online, and video instructional formats.
Three to five years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within higher education, career services, or marketing student services.
CCSP, CCC, GCDF certification or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
