Role Overview:
We are looking to hire a Market Development Specialist with experience within the cement industry to support our business in North America. As a Market Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the introduction and testing of new performance enhancing additives, contributing to the advancement of cement and binder manufacturing processes.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
1. Introduction of New Performance and Grinding Aids:
•Collaborate with research and development teams to understand the characteristics and benefits of new performance additives.
•Develop comprehensive plans for the introduction of new performance additives into cement and binder manufacturing processes.
•Coordinate with production facilities to ensure seamless integration of new products.
2. Testing and Evaluation:
•Design and implement testing protocols to evaluate the performance of new performance additives.
•Conduct on-site trials and experiments to assess the efficacy of new products in real-world conditions.
•Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on the performance of performance additives, including their impact on cement and binder quality, energy consumption, and environmental factors.
3. Technical Support:
•Provide technical support to production teams regarding the use and optimization of performance additives.
•Troubleshoot any issues related to the application of performance additives in cement and binder manufacturing processes.
•Collaborate with customers to address specific challenges and tailor solutions to their needs.
4. Knowledge Sharing and Training:
•Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate internal teams and customers on the benefits and best practices of using performance additives.
•Stay updated on the latest advancements in performance additives technology and share knowledge within the organization.
•Participate in appropriate industry associations and forums to learn about the needs and trends of the cement and binder industry
5. Quality Assurance:
•Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations in the development and application of performance additives.
•Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency and reliability in product performance.
Position Requirements
•A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry,or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred.
•Previous experience in the cement industry, with a focus on grinding processes and additives.
•Strong understanding of cement chemistry and supplementary cementing materials (SCM) manufacturing and grinding processes.
•Proven track record in designing and conducting experiments, preferably in an industrial setting.
•Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
•Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•Drive Sustainable Solutions
•Willingness to travel frequently (50% ) to customer sites and production facilities.
•Regular visits to the Beachwood HQ to interact with product management and Research & Development
