Maintenance Technician

Shift: 2nd - Monday - Thursday 2pm - 12:30am

Expectations:

-Able to work alone on complex tasks and provide adequate communication to all related parties

-Maintain, rebuild/repair, weld and fabricate, and aid in projects related to roll forming machines, punch presses, and all other auxiliary manufacturing equipment

-Use CMMS software for work logging of planned and emergency work, parts inventory, and time reconciliation

-Perform daily duties in compliance with good safety guidelines, best practices, company standards, and consideration of affect to customer specifications

-Maintain a clean workspace and thorough completion of work before returning to use

-Work with OMCO employees and contract workers to provide the best solutions

Additional considerations:

- Based in our Wickliffe, OH Corporate Headquarters, reporting to Corporate Plant Engineer

-Assist in cases of emergency including as available during unscheduled hours

-Open to occasional travel (to local stores, other facilities, or for training) are positive attributes to this position.

Key Requirements:

· Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting

· Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.

· Able to interpret various schematics

· Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

· Knowledge of safety standards and regulations

· Specification of equipment and parts

· Demonstrate strong mathematical skills and use of precision measuring devices

· Proficiency in using electronic devices and computers for work

· Work effectively with minimal assistance or supervision

· Able to lift 50lbs regularly and Stand, Climb, Kneel, Bend, and Lift for up to 10hrs a day

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum 4 years applicable industrial equipment maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.41 - $25.84 per hour
