Omega Home Care is seeking the best qualified candidate to provide Part-Time direct support to our clients. Direct Support Professionals work with individuals with mental or developmental disabilities by creating behavior plans, teaching self-care skills, cooking meals and doing laundry.
Duties:
- Assisting clients with daily personal tasks, including but not limited to cleaning, assisting with household chores, accompanying to appointments and community integration activities.
- Night shift position requires an overnight presence to assist in emergencies and provide safety protocols.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- At least one (1) year of experience working with in a site housing; or with the developmentally disabled
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Valid Certified Medical Technician Certification (CMT)
- Valid CPR Certification and understanding of ADLs
- DDA Training (preferred)
