What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Controls SME I position at Omega Technical Services?
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Provide guidance to management on classification requirements and compliance and on the CD process and deliverable format
- Review and provide input to specifications for engineered equipment and/or subcontracts
- Review and provide input to estimators on resources (labor and other-than-labor) needed to perform the scope of work
- Provide input to schedulers on sequence, durations, and logic of activities
- Provide input to management regarding risk-informed schedules to serve as the basis for establishing milestones and PBIs
- Provide input to engineers, estimators, and schedulers on constructability, maintain-ability, operability, and commissioning
- Provide input to technical writers for BOEs, BOS, and WBS data dictionary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to project controls.
- Ten years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management.
- Five years of experience demonstrating knowledge of desired area of subject matter expertise.
- Candidates not meeting the education requirements may be considered based on additional relevant experience.
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
- Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous nuclear experience.
LOCATION
Position will be 100% onsite in Greenville, SC.
(Local candidates or willing to relocate at the candidate's expense).
