Overview

Responsible for developing and maintaining outside sales activities and general business relationships with customers within a designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Solicits sales from customers and develops direct business relationships
• Develops new business and expands customer base to support commercial strategies of the company
• Negotiates price agreements as well as other commercial arrangements with customers as directed
• Contacts regional foundry's to sell scrap material.
• Maintain existing accounts for continued customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• Internal knowledge of the scheduling, order entry, allocation, and production processes
• Excellent personnel and time management development skills
• Effective communicator capable of interfacing (internally & externally) with a wide variety of individuals and job levels
• Possess strong reasoning skills and solid understanding of the market conditions that affect the business of the company and of the customer
• Solid grasp of the market and the industry
• A broad range of contacts within the industry and must be constantly expanded
• Ability to travel
