If you are interested in joining our culture, we’re looking for a PRN Registered Nurse in our ambulatory surgical center. Must have RN license to practice in Tennessee.

Snapshot of Daily Duties
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations requiring immediate medical intervention. Initiates emergency measures as needed. Assist with maintenance of crash cart.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs to provide supportive care before, during and after procedures.
- Initiate IV’s for patient sedation prior to the procedures.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician’s orders.
- Participate in patient education pre and post procedure.
- Maintain accurate and complete records, documenting all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient response.
- Assist the physician with management of office visits.
- Provide patient education and instruction.
- Communicate with patients as applicable.
- Maintain patient centered data in a neat and organized manner including chart entries, documentation, or communications to be sent externally.
- Comply with adverse event reporting and patient privacy policies.
The Must Haves
- Registered nurse. Membership in local, state, and national societies is encouraged.
- ACLS is required. As well as continuing certification with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Solid nursing background, concentration, or willingness to obtain advanced knowledge in GI specialty. Priority setting, application of judgment, communication skill and tact.
