Inventory Data Entry Assistant

We are seeking a Data Entry Assistant to work with our Inventory team. The right candidate will be extremely accurate, quick, and able to problem solve any potential issues.

Job Summary: In this role the employee is responsible for the daily input of all goods received by our receiving department.

Essential Functions:

• Verify all invoices to packing slips, and compile information for end of the month reports.
• Adjust inventory as needed to accommodate mill returns and product shortages. Research product shortages.
• Compile information for freight claims on missing and/or damaged product.
• Input all received inventory into VICS system upon receipt of packing lists.
• Create a digital copy of all packing lists from the receiving team.
• Deliver receipt postings along with packing lists to Accounts Payable on the same business day.
• Adjust inventory as needed to reflect customer returns and shortages, product damages or defects, and cycle counts.
• Submits all freight claims on missing or damaged goods.
• Submits end of month reports to financial department.
• Enter all defects into tracking spreadsheet.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Minimum qualifications:

• A high school diploma is required. Associates degree preferred.
• Must have at least one year data entry experience and display high speed and accuracy.
