About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct and indirect patient care. You will be an integral part of the clinic's success. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating, managing acute health problems using evidence-based protocols, and creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under the supervising physician. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform pre-employment and annual wellness physicals
- Manage acute and chronic health problems using evidence-based protocols creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under supervising physician’s protocols
- Provide health screenings and other disease prevention programs
- Evaluation and treatment of patients for injury and illness
- Report and review cases with the medical director and client managers
- Oversee respirator and auditory testing for employees by clinic staff
- Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions to meet the needs of teammates.
- Uphold high ethical standards and practice within the scope of practice outlined in the written protocol
- Provide patient education, health coaching, and patient health advocacy
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests
- Monitors the effectiveness of interventions
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
- Enter patient data into the EMR system accurately & promptly
- Assist in all areas of the clinic, if needed
- Perform related duties as required
Desired Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited NP or PA program according to Tennessee State Law
- License and Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Tennessee and Alabama
- Prescriptive authorization
- Two years of relevant clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS
- DEA
- NIOSH, CAOHC, and DOT certification
