Job Description: PLC Control Engineer
Location: Waterford, Wisconsin
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled PLC Control Engineer to join our team at our facility in Waterford, WI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, software programming for control systems, and regulatory compliance. This role involves working onsite and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality control systems and documentation.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and create drawings for control panels using SolidWorks/ SolidWorks Electrical plug in.
• Update and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing directions in the Oracle ERP system.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Control software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Preferred experience for programming of PLCs Siemens and Codesys.
• Preferred experience of control and automation for process industry
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including:
  • Engineering design documents.
  • Work instructions.
  • Quality acceptance test procedures.
• Prepare and maintain products to meet regulatory requirements such as UL, CE, and ETL standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4–8 years of experience as Control Engineer for Electrical Control design, PLC programming, and related fields.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for Mechanical Layout and electrical designs.
• Exposure of ERP systems (preferably Oracle) to update the BOM
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (UL, CE, ETL) and compliance processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite in Waterford, WI.
