Job Title: Accountant 

Job Location: Corporate Offices in Bradenton, Florida

Reports to: CFO

Salary: 50-70k

Job Description: The job consists of overseeing the accounting function of the company with a proactive financial analytical approach. We’re looking for someone who is intelligent and desiring to grow with a fast growth company and is a good fit with our corporate culture and values. The ideal candidate is someone who is able to effectively manage multiple responsibilities while developing effective financial reporting and analysis to help the company make better decisions based on good data and insights. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting – Prepare and produce accurate, timely, analytical, and helpful financial reports, including but not limited to income statements, balance sheet, statement of cashflow, budgets, projections, key performance metrics, etc. 

  • Accounting Functions – Oversee accounting functions and department, including but not limited to accounting entries, reconciliation, receivables, payables, expense management, etc. 

  • Financial Analysis – Analyze and report on a variety of data, trends, reports, metrics, businesses units, profit centers, departments, products, and other areas of the business to help improve performance.

  • Tax Compliance - Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. 

  • Risk and Return Management – Assess, manage, and mitigate risk while balancing ROI optimization.

Job Requirements/ Skills: 

  • Degree in business, accounting or finance is a plus.

  • Small business accounting experience with financial analytical skills.

  • Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills.

  • Competent use of Quickbooks, Excel, other Office products, as well as other accounting and financial related software. 

  • bility to learn and effective use Hubspot, Cvent, Asana, Teams, etc. 

  • Strong overall business acumen with a drive to grow and succeed.

  • Must be completely trustworthy and loyal.

  • High attention to detail while able to balance the bigger picture. 

  • Ability to effectively multitask while keeping a positive attitude.
